Americana Poker represents another tricky variation of the Five Cards Stud Poker. It is usually played online as a pot limit game. The same as Telesina Poker & 32 Card Draw Poker, Americana is played with a French Deck (Stripped Deck) of cards, which means that all lower cards (from 2 to 6) have been removed resulting in 32 Cards Deck. Card rankings are also different then in traditional poker game, so don’t be surprised when your “Full House” is beaten by your opponents “Flush”. If you are unfamiliar with this game, be sure to check out Americana Poker Rules firstly. Otherwise, check out our favorite place to play Americana Poker game online:
From the makers of 32 Red Casino, the top online casino for the last decide, comes the 32Red Poker. Licensed and regulated to EU and UK standards, 32 Red has our highly recommendation for your online poker action.
Number of players: From 2 to max 6 players.
Deck: Stripped deck - 32 cards from A to 7. (French deck)
Dealer: Cards are dealt clockwise starting with the first active player after the dealers button.
Ante: Before the cards are dealt, each player must place the ante ("forced bet").
Each player receives two cards – The “hole card” (face-down card which can not be seen by other players) and the “open card” (face-up card for everyone to see). After the deal, the player showing the highest card must bring-in, or in other words to place a “forced bet” which is usually two times ante or bet higher (if the limits allow it). Note: Ties in card rank are broken by suit in the following descending order - spades, hearts, diamonds and clubs. After this initial bring-in or bet, action continues clockwise until betting round is completed. After the first betting round each of the remaining players receives another face-up card and the second betting round starts. This is repeated two more times (face-up card dealing and betting round after the dealing), so in the fourth and last betting round each of the remaining players will have total of five cards (one face-down and four face-up). If more then one player reaches this stage of play when fourth betting round is finished – it is time for the showdown. If there was betting on 5th street the player who made the last bet or raise must show his hand first. Otherwise the player showing the highest hand on the board shows his hand first. The best five-card hand wins the pot and if two or more players have the same hand they split the pot.
